About Us
In response to the growing demand for quality childcare in Morgantown, the Church Council approved the formation of a Childcare Task-force in the Fall of 2008. The Task-force offered its first 10 week Summer camp in 2009 with 15 children and 4 staff members. The following year, the program grew to 25 , then 50, 65, 75, and 100 each year thereafter.
In the spring of 2014, the church received a state daycare license, and in the fall, Suncrest opened as a year round program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and before and after school care. The center currently has over 150 children and 30 staff members.

Location
Suncrest Early Learning Center is located in the heart of Suncrest under the Suncrest United Methodist Church. It is directly across the street from the newly built WVU Alumni Center, and is also close to Ruby Memorial Hospital and the Hampton Inn.
