Kidz Rock Summer Camp

Summer Camp is available from mid-June to mid-August for children exiting kindergarten through 6th grade. We provide supervised, planned activities to keep children engaged and active during those summer months. Previous field trips have included: a Washington Wild Things baseball game, Big Bear Campground, Splash Zone, and Mylan Park Aquatic Center. Each week the children will visit the local public pool 1-2 times. The remaining days are filled with teacher planned activities & visitors from the community. Some of the 2025 visitors included a petting zoo, Carnegie Science Center, Spark Imagination & Science Center, WVU Mountaineer mascot, and many others. 

Registration for Kidz Rock Summer Camp 2026 will open on the following dates:

February 16, 2026:  Returning 2025 KRSC children
Current BASE and Snow Day children and siblings of current SCELC children

February 23, 2026: Registration will open to the public ​


*Registration does not guarantee a spot. If your child's age group is full, you will be added to a waitlist and contacted if a spot opens up prior to the start of KRSC 2026.

Tuition Information for KRSC 2025:

$180 Activity Fee- Covers the cost of your child's pool pass, field trips, and camp visitors.

Full Summer Option:
$210 per Week- Includes breakfast & snack
$232 per Week- Includes breakfast, lunch & snack

Six Week Option:
$247 per Week- Includes breakfast & snack
$270 per Week- Includes breakfast, lunch & snack

Before Care: $5 per 1/2 hour- Available from 7:00-8:00am
After Care: $5 per day - Available from 5:30-6:00pm


KRSC 2025 will operate Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:30pm.  Camp will run from early June through mid-August. Exact dates will be determined by the Monongalia County Schools calendar.
